Convention Terms & Conditions

These terms apply to registration and participation in Sarawak International Photography & Video Convention 2026.

Organiser

This event is managed by Caveman Studio (103882) (the “Organiser”).

1st Floor, No 9823 Sublot 7, Lot 5820 Section 65, KTLD, Jalan Semarak Matang, 93050 Kuching, Sarawak

References in these terms to the Organiser mean this company, acting for the event.

1. Entry

  1. 1.1 By submitting your application you are agreeing to register for the convention and to abide by these conditions of entry.
  2. 1.2 The published programme is tentative and may change. The Organiser will endeavour to communicate material changes in advance.

2. Data Protection

  1. 2.1 You agree that your personal information can be stored and used by the Organiser and their partners in connection with the organisation, staging and administration of the convention.
  2. 2.2 You agree that your name, image and contact details can be used by the Organiser and their partners for promotion of the convention and to keep you informed about future related events, in accordance with the SIPVA Privacy Policy.

3. Cancellation

  1. 3.1 The Organiser may cancel or reschedule the convention if circumstances arise beyond reasonable control. In such circumstances, we will endeavour to communicate to you in advance.
  2. 3.2 Registration fees are non-refundable except where the Organiser cancels the convention and no alternative date is offered.

4. Use of Image

  1. 4.1 Photographs and recordings may be taken which capture your participation. You agree to the publication of photographs and recordings of your image which accurately depict your participation in the convention.

5. General

  1. 5.1 These terms shall be governed by the laws of Malaysia, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
  2. 5.2 If any provision is invalid or unenforceable, the remainder shall not be affected.
